| 11.3.2 the formation of the future II (futuro anteriore) |
The futuro II corresponds more or less to the future II (I will have done) in English. The formation is simple, it follows the simple schedule we already know. The auxiliary verb essere / avere in futuro I + past participle. Simplifying we say that intransitive verbs are conjugated with essere, transitive verbs with avere, for more details see 9.3. formation of the tenses in Italian.
